My name is Mrs Margaret Bradshaw and I have come across a football photo on your site of my dad who played football for Binchester in 1950 and he is one of the photos you have in your Blog. I would love to know the names of any of the other people in the photo.
My dad is the player kneeling on the right - his name was Robert Isaac Simpson (Bobbie), He was a Miner at Dean Bank Colliery Ferryhill but as the pits were starting to close he came down to Gedling Colliery, Nottingham in 1960. He passed away at the age of 53 in 1980.
